For this one, prepare for bushy hiking. Taking the east Wilson creek road just south of the Rosebery park sign from Rosebery, some kilometers north of New Denver on Highway 6. Follow the excellent gravel path to the Little Wilson Lake Forest Service campground, which is about 33 kilometers from the highway.
This point can also be reached via a rougher path from Nakusp; take the Wilson Lake turnoff on Highway 6, 6.3 kilometers south of Nakusp. To get to the campsite, take the rugged road for about 18 kilometers.
To follow these routes, pick up a forest service map in Nakusp. The springs are located on the valley’s south slope, about 1 km east of Little Wilson Lake. The overgrown path along the south side of Little Wilson Lake, which begins about 2.2 kilometers west of the recreation site, could be the better approach.
A short distance up a narrow side stream, springs seep from the talus. The springs are depicted on Provincial Government Map 82K/SW at UTM grid reference 606633 and an elevation of 950m. The water temperature is about 35 degrees Celsius.”
