Nahanni Headwater Hot Springs

These remote, rarely seen Springs are the warmest in the Northwest Territories. Hot water seeps from steep Boulder slopes at an elevation of roughly 1,300 feet, well above the brook below. The Springs are clearly seen from the air. Two principal springs are approximately 60 feet apart, with another source approximately 1200 feet away. The temperature of the water is 64 degrees Celsius.
